College Ambassadors
Dance Canvas Ambassadors (DCAs) plan and coordinate College Night for our Annual Performance Series at the Ferst Center for the Arts. Each year, this event brings together college students from across Georgia who are majoring in dance and other areas of study.
What it takes:

We are seeking diligent, eager, and passionate students

Must be a currently enrolled college student in Georgia

Must be available the evening of March 20th to facilitate College Night

Internships
Are you interested in Arts Administration? Apply to be a Dance Canvas Intern to gain practical business experience in marketing, database management, show production and more! We are seeking detail-oriented, self-motivated interns, ages 19-25, with dance experience.
Fall and Spring Internships. Fall and Spring interns receive career mentorship and gain valuable skills assisting with social media, database management, event planning, volunteer recruiting, and other projects as needed. We accept applications on a rolling basis and select at least one intern during the fall and spring semesters.
Academic credit: Please contact your university’s career center for this information. Dance Canvas will fill out any required forms to verify internship participation.
Summer Internship. During the summer, we select 3-6 interns to assist with our 4-week DC NEXT Summer Program for high school students. Summer interns are able to fully participate in the program at a greatly reduced cost in exchange for assistance facilitating the program and supervising participants. In addition to gaining leadership experience, summer interns train with a variety of professional choreographers, gain choreography and teaching experience, and participate in workshops on effective personal branding in the performing arts industry!
