Dance Canvas is pleased to offer our 1st Artist-to-Artist workshop of our 2021-22 Season with Ailey Master Teacher, Nasha Thomas.

Join us on Sunday, October 24th for FREE workshops taught by Ailey master teacher, Nasha Thomas. Ms. Thomas danced with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater from 1986 to 1998 at the invitation of Mr. Ailey and under the direction of Judith Jamison.

 

The workshops are presented in partnership with Ailey's Destination Dance Atlanta and Moving in the Spirit as part of The City of Atlanta’s ELEVATE. The classes are open to the entire Atlanta community. The classes are split by level (Pre-registration required):

 

2:00 - 3:00 pm - Community - All levels 

3:15 - 4:45 pm - Professional - Int./Adv.*

(*Dancers must be at least 16 years of age to participate in the Professional workshop.)

Registration is required for participation.

 

Vaccinations required for participants; Masks required to be worn. 

Space is will be limited to 20 participants per workshop for safety.
